A book review

If you’re looking for a book on the real USMC, this is it. This narrative by Marion F. Sturkey is about the Marine Corp and how it functions as seen through the eyes of a Marine.

It’s well written and researched, irreverent, amusing, and laid out so you can go back and review the various sections. An interesting reading, I would highly recommend this book to anyone, especially a Marine. Once a Marine always a Marine is more than just a quote, it is an altruism.

A Marine would probably already know most of the information, but it is a good, easily read refresher, and has a good deal of humor mixed in with the facts of the times we served in the Corps.
