And on this the 21st through the 23rd days of October in the history of our beloved Corps:

In 1966, on these the 21^st through the 23^rd days of October, Marines of the 3^rd Battalion, 1^st Marines participate in OPERATION MADISON, a search and destroy mission in Quang Nam Province.
